“In Defense of Food: An Eater’s Manifesto” (Michael Pollan) Even better than the Botany of Desire or Omnivore’s Dilemma, this one really shakes out the food landscape and illustrates what a minefield the modern supermarket is. I buy very little processed food (breakfast cereals are about it) but I think I have some more things to watch out for. Continue reading →
