One of my college roommates has achieved his aim: he is a Celebrity.
I noticed he was appearing at a local club as I drove by this afternoon and decided to see what Google could tell me. Hey, at least this time, they spelt his name right: last time he was at Giggles, he was “Todd Berry” on the marquee.
He neglects to mention his recording career. Modesty, I guess. (Review in Trouser Press, more here.)
Just to keep some balance, I had to re-read this. My recollections are not of someone who wanted to make art, but of someone who wanted to be on Letterman (and did get on the “viewer mail” segment once).
